I'm enjoying my summer vacation so far, & I hope you're enjoying yours, too. My first year of college went fantastically, & I look forward to starting my sophomore year in the fall. I recently spent a 5-day vacation with my folks in New York City, & I'm working on a report of the trip right now. It'll be posted on my journal soon. (And I'm still trying to get my ComicCon report done, too; it's coming along very slowly, but very surely.) All in all, life for me is going smoothly, as it usually is. ^_^

I'm continuing to work on the usual projects, of course; my GMD 2 script is still being worked on, & I'm hoping that I'll finish it soon. After that, I intend to work on my Rescuers 3 script, then my ACO prequel script, & finally, my other film projects. At the same time, I'm also working quite busily on my hundreds-upon-hundreds of fanart & fanfic projects; I'm not only revamping my old stories, but I have plenty of new ones to write, too--& some of them are multi-part fics totalling from 100 to 400 chapters! (Phew! )

After the relocation of my GMD website to its new domain last month, I'm trying to reformat all the pages, make new logos, come up with better intros for all the pages, & add new music, pictures, & backgrounds, among several other things. It's gonna take me a while for me to get it all straightened out, but just hang tight, folks, & before you know it, the Mouse Avenger's GMD Fanfic World will be back on its feet again!

(Incidentally, in case you haven't read my previous journal [ [link] ], I've thought about starting up an archive for all the Geocities pages--sort of like a "preservation project" for all the websites, so that people will still be able to visit them, even when Geocities closes down. If anyone would like to help this idea get off the ground, feel free to help out with the project; I & many other people would greatly appreciate your assistance. )

I'm still wallowing in my favorite obsessions, of course, & my love for the "Dr. Strangelove" fandom has recently manifested itself in a new project of mine; I have just completed a Broadway musical adaptation of Stanley Kubrick's timeless nuclear comedy, which I hope to present to all of you on DA (or if, for certain reasons, I should probably keep the play script offline until it is accepted & made into an actual musical, like the film versions of GMD 2 & "The Rescuers 3", I'll gladly E-mail a copy of it to anyone who asks for it).

Speaking of recent "Dr. Strangelove" fan-projects, I'm getting all sorts of ideas for my 'biofic', "The Memoirs Of Dr. Strangelove", & they're flooding my brain like crazy! (Beware, I am about to mention some mild spoilers here...) One of the major ideas for the story involves our hero falling in love, getting married, & being blessed with two adorable children! (As to why he only settles down with one wife, it's kind of complicated.) But I won't give you any more details than that--you'll just have to find out for yourselves!

(BTW, I've been thinking about enlisting a "creative advisor" for TMODS--someone who might periodically wish to look at what I'm writing so far, & discuss details & important information & ideas & tips & things like that, maybe even point out some mistakes or plot holes or historical inaccuracies I might have missed somehow. If anyone's interested in taking up the offer, just drop me a line in a DA note, & I'll get back to you. )

I'm still trying to seek my desired careers in animation & music & filmmaking & writing & drama & everything, & now more than ever, I'm on the hunt for job opportunities, agents, intern programs, & anything else that may help me land a job in any or all of those fields. I've also been trying to put portfolios together, featuring samples of the best of my artwork & writing, so that I can show them to anyone who may be interested in seeing them.
