BS WP: Entwined In Love's Duet

Here's the third picture in my starting line-up of artwork related to my newest Hollywood hero & heartthrob, the one & only Powers Boothe! ^_^

This is a work-in-progress, so expect to see it inked & colored at some point in the future. It's my rendition of a scene from the 1994 movie, "Blue Sky", starring Powers Boothe (as Vince Johnson) & Jessica Lange (as Cathy Marshall); you can see the original picture here: [link] . I must admit, when I first saw that screenshot, it made a very impressive impact on me; it was almost a work of art in its own right! What particularly fascinates me about this image is the sense of contrast in the way Vince & Cathy present themselves...how Cathy seems to be caught up in the passion & intimacy of the dance, lost in romantic reverie, while Vince simply stares ahead, looking all serious & solemn & brooding & intense...& handsome. So, as you can see, I simply had to draw a picture of that scene! ^_^ Now, I gotta go watch the movie...*makes a note to look for it on Youtube*
