Lately, I've been coming up with ideas for songs to sing on Youtube (& also use in demo recordings), so that I can get my proverbial foot in the door, & attract the attention of prominent people in the music industry who will help me become a big music star (preferably "old-school" people like Prince, or Wendy & Lisa, or Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, among many others--oh, did I mention Prince? 
).
As you can probably tell, this song is about a girl who secretly loves a guy, but doesn't want to come between him & his girlfriend. A bit of an overused topic, I know, but rest assured that my other Youtube / demo songs cover a wide variety of subjects (& one of them has to do with Joan Of Arc!
).

This is just wonderful! Usually when song lyrics are written out, they sound really stupid, but this was just great! Aside from the flawless rhymes and scan, it does perfectly express the emotions one feels in that situation.
