If I do a remake of "Moment By Moment"...this is how I want it to be.

The story somewhat follows the plot of the 1978 original with Lily Tomlin & John Travolta, but with several major differences (& a lot more chemistry between the main actors!).  An older socialite named John Burke (played by Powers Boothe) runs into a mysterious young drifter named Jewel (played by yours truly) while out on the town in Manhattan, & he later runs into her again at his beachfront condo.  Jewel hangs around the condo for the next couple of days, much to the annoyance of John, who can't seem to get anything done without Jewel popping up next to him.  But out of the goodness of his heart, John takes the homeless Jewel in on a rainy night, & does his best to make her comfortable in his home.  Gradually, he warms up to the young waif, & it isn't long before John & Jewel begin connecting with each other (in more ways than one!)...

As the story progresses, John & Jewel become increasingly attracted to each other, & as they get to know each other's worlds of high culture & good times, their scenes of everyday life are interspliced with (very hot!) scenes of lovemaking in various forms.  All the while, John & Jewel are falling deeper & deeper in love with each other, but Jewel is secretly worried about the consequences of giving up her no-strings-attached life of wild revelry for a life of post-'50s domestic bliss...

Just when it seems like John & Jewel are ready to tie the knot, Jewel chickens out, & runs away, leaving behind an apology note for John.  John tracks down Jewel through the streets of New York, finally finding her at one of her favorite hangouts, & upon being reunited with her lover, Jewel comes to realize just who--& what--she really wants in her life.  After coming back home (& having one more hot love scene), Jewel happily accepts John's proposal for marriage.  The two then get married, have kids, & live happily ever after! ^_^

So, what particularly-unique or special love scenes can we expect to see in this movie? Well, there will be (in no particular order)...

:bulletred: A shower scene
:bulletred: A bathtub scene
:bulletred: A threesome (with another girl)
:bulletred: A mirror scene
:bulletred: A fireplace scene
:bulletred: Very, very, very, very mild BDSM (involving a bouquet of thorn-ridden roses)
:bulletred: A nude waltz scene (which finally turns into a standing-up love scene)
:bulletred: A food scene
:bulletred: Two roleplaying scenes
:bulletred: A scene in John's "Red Room" (an old darkroom in the apartment, lit only by a safelight)
:bulletred: A scene in John's completely-darkened bedroom on a rainy night, illuminated only by flashes of lightning
:bulletred: Another mild BDSM scene (in which John gets all tied up, & Jewel takes control!)
:bulletred: Two elaborate striptease scenes (one for Jewel, & one for John) set to music
:bulletred: A scene where John & Jewel "bank the 6 & the 9" on a billiards table at an empty pool hall
:bulletred: A phone sex scene
:bulletred: An elaborate Arabian-themed "fantasy" sequence, in which John plays a weary Bedouin voyager who is taken in (& made love to) by a ravishing desert beauty (played by Jewel, of course)
:bulletred: A simple scene involving Jewel & a blindfold
:bulletred: A scene where John & Jewel take turns playing the roles of "cowpoke" & "horse" (complete with a little Western wear)
:bulletred: A scene where John & Jewel make love in an elevator
:bulletred: A scene where John & Jewel make a "blue movie" in their bedroom

(I think these sequences should be more than enough to go with the other 20 [regular] love scenes that I also want to put in the movie. ;) )

Remember that new movie project I mentioned in today's journal? You're looking at the synopsis for it now! :D It's a remake of the 1978 John Travolta / Lily Tomlin film "Moment By Moment", starring Powers Boothe...& yours truly! ^_^

So, what do you think of the movie idea? :) Do tell me your thoughts! ^_^

When you're finished reading, please be sure to leave feedback when you're done. I'll take anything from comments to constructive criticism, as long as they're not flames or delivered in an overly-harsh, stern, or mercilessly-nitpicky manner.
