TSOJOA: Vulcan Ears

Here's the second picture in a new line-up of artwork related to my latest movie project, "The Story Of Joan Of Arc"! This picture features two of Joan's sidekicks: a guardian angel named Gabriella, & a demon-boy named Nick. Just to satisfy any curiosity you may have, here's a little background info on the two characters (& their personality descriptions will be coming up soon, so hang tight! )...

Gabriella: One of the lower-ranking 'heavenly helpers', she desires to be given a chance to prove that she can handle the same responsibilities as higher-ranking angels (e.g., Sts. Catherine, Michael, & Margaret); after she teams up with Joan Of Arc, & assists her in her quest to deliver France from English control, she finally gets that promotion she was hoping for.

Nick: This little guy is the son of Satan (literally!), but after hearing about his father's brighter past as an angel, he becomes inspired to adopt the life of a law-abiding, righteous individual. Upon arriving in the world of mortals, he meets up with the guardian angel Gabriella, & the two go on to assist Joan Of Arc in her heroic quest to rescue her people.

As for what's going on in the picture? Well, Nick's feeling very self-conscious about a particular aspect of his character design, & Gabriella's doing her best to comfort her friend...though I don't really think that's working too well...
