After going on a binge of watching the Jurassic Park films & reading the JP novel for the last few months, I've suddenly been struck with the idea to make a similar story, only with the GMD fandom--in which the Baker Street Family embarks on a mission to a remote island in the Pacific, where mysterious murders are being committed at a most unusual game preserve...& the culprits are miniature dinosaurs!

What do you think of this idea? Your complete & honest thoughts would be appreciated, as this happens to be one of those rare ideas where it's not, "OMG, I like this idea so much, I'm gonna use it right off the bat & turn it into a real story / fanfic / sequel / whatever!"...Well, you get the point. ^^;

Oh, & also, I've been inspired to write a long, detailed essay about the history of the mouse world, going over the following topics, as well as many more:
*The creation of the mouse world (as portrayed in the legends & lore of different cultures, the Rodents' Bible / Torah, & rodentpologists' writings dicussing the cavemice & the possible evolution of rodentkind)
*The early cultures of mousedom (e.g., Tellmice, Ancient Mouse Greeks & Romans, Mouse Egyptians, Mouse Africans, Mouse Indian-Americans, Ancient Mouse China, Ancient Mouse Japan, Mousopatamians, the Mouse Israelites, etc.) & their histories
*The first few centuries of mouse history (leading up to the 1300's)
*The Mouse Middle Ages (all throughout the 1400's the 1500's)
*The rodent world during the 17th & 18th centuries (including the Rodential Revolutions in America & France)
*The beginning of the 19th century
*The dawn of the Mousetorian Age
*Politics, art, science, music, literature, & many other aspects of life during the first half of the Mousetorian Age
*The global overcoming of bigotry & discrimination between the races, species, sexes, & other groups of rodents
*The second half of the Mousetorian Age, leading up to Queen Mousetoria's Diamond Jubilee
*The Month Of Change, the establishment of the new technology, & numerous other changes to the rodent world
*Everything you ever wanted to know about the New Mousetorian Age
*The first decade of the 20th century, the Boar War, & other things
*The first Rodential World War
*The Swingin', Squeakin' 20's
*The Great Depression
*The 40's (including the Second Rodential World War & the atrocities in Mouse Germany)
*The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, & early 00's

Any feedback on the ideas for my essay would be nice. :D And also very much appreciated. ^_^

And now, for some delightful randomness...

Random Quote: "I wish I had a balloon to stick to you!" -- Sheen Estevez (from the "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" TV show).
Random Tidbit: The poinsettia plant, contrary to popular belief, is not poisonous.
Random Thought: "I hope my German translation for Herr Strangelove's contest song came out right!"
The Character That Amuses Me Today: Toby Ragg (from "Sweeney Todd")
Song That's Stuck In My Head: My German version of "The Contest" from the "Sweeney Todd" soundtrack
Random Project: My libretto & play script for "Kubrick Todd"
'Lovely Picture' Of The Moment: My kitty cats napping together on the couch
Random "Alphabetization": F for flamboyant, a way to describe such flashy characters as Professor Ratigan & Signor Pirelli

the Baker Street Jurrasic park thing is, I'd say, good but the mini dinosaurs make me squirm. But that's just my opinion. :)
